When hanging portraits on your walls the size you choose really makes a difference. Here is an illustration of a variety of different print sizes. In this visual example you can see what each size would look like in relation to furniture and to other sizes of prints. If it seems too scary for you to hang a large portrait on your wall, consider doing a grouping of smaller images. Just make sure you get your portraits on the wall. Your family memories are too precious to be tucked away in a drawer or on your computer. They deserve to be on display in your home.
